Fanatics has officially announced partnership as an official sportsbook of the National Football League (NFL), effectively ending a vacant sponsorship category that had remained unfilled since multi-year agreements with FanDuel, DraftKings, and Caesars expired at the end of March.
The agreement, anticipated to be officially unveiled prior to the commencement of the new regular season, grants Fanatics rights to promote its wagering platform across league-controlled media channels, including permission to broadcast commercial spots during live game transmissions.
Furthermore, the partnership provides Fanatics with exclusive access to premium hospitality packages and elite fan engagement experiences at marquee league fixtures such as the Super Bowl and the annual NFL Draft, while also securing official status for its online casino operations across Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
While financial terms of the agreement were not publicly disclosed by either the National Football League or Fanatics, the arrangement signifies a shift in the league’s betting partnerships. Meanwhile, high-level negotiations are reportedly continuing between the league office and exited incumbents FanDuel and DraftKings, which alongside Caesars previously contributed a combined investment valued at nearly one billion dollars across the preceding five-year sponsorship cycle.
Under current league regulations, sportsbooks that fail to secure a formal data distribution agreement remain entirely ineligible to sponsor the league or its constituent franchises, or to purchase advertising inventory during live broadcasts.
