The Student Day will be held at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Gardens Point Campus, in the Gardens Theatre.

What is the purpose of this event?

The Student Day is designed to introduce Year 9–12 students to a range of career opportunities within the sport industry. The day features insights from industry leaders, athletes, and academics.

Where is the event located?

The Gardens Theatre is in X-block at QUT’s Gardens Point campus, 2 George Street, Brisbane, right next to the City Botanic Gardens.

What is the cost to attend?

No, the event is free for all students. 

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes, please register your school and students before Friday 8th August.

Will there be food or drinks available?

Lunch will be provided for the event. Additional food and drinks are available for purchase at nearby on-campus outlets.

What should I bring?

Bring a notebook and pen if you wish to take notes. You may also want to bring a water bottle and a light jacket, as theatres are air-conditioned.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start to ensure enough time for registration. Session will commence at 10am.
