Eurosport UK, BT Sport Set For Merger

BT Sport and Eurosport UK are set to merge and become TNT Sports, which is set to be launched later this year, shortly before the start of the 2023/24 football season.

Since its inception over a decade ago, BT Sport has built a reputation for delivering some of the best live sports coverage in the UK.

With the addition of Eurosport UK, TNT Sports will bring together one of the most extensive line-ups of live sports coverage available to fans in the UK & Ireland.

The list of sports covered by TNT Sports will include the Olympic Games, the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, UFC, Boxing, WWE, tennis Grand Slams, cycling Grand Tours and the winter sports season. With such a comprehensive list of sporting events, TNT Sports is set to become a must-have for sports fans in the UK & Ireland.

Eurosport will also become part of the new brand at some point in the future, although there are no plans to change the Eurosport brand in markets where it is available outside of the UK & Ireland.

The joint venture between BT Group and Warner Bros. Discovery was formed on 1 September 2022, and TNT Sports is the latest product of this partnership.
