Epicentre.tv continues to deliver to their audience after teaming up with Golden Boy Promotions to provide access to some of the biggest boxing events in the world.

The partnership will commence with the showdown between the newly-crowned World Boxing Organisation World Super Welterweight Champion Jaime Munguia (29-0, 25 KOs) in the first defence of his title against former World Champion Liam “Beefy” Smith (26-1-1, 14 KOs), this Sunday, July 22 (from 2 pm AEST) LIVE on Epicentre.tv.

The showdown will be broadcast within Australia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia, Kazahstan, Myanmar, and Russia.

Former world boxing champion and CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya said: “This partnership demonstrates yet again why Golden Boy Promotions is at the forefront of boxing on the international stage.”

“The way boxing is being watched is dramatically changing and this partnership with Epicentre.tv will ensure that the most exciting fights in the sport have an important and innovative platform in Australia.”

International Boxing Hall of Fame’s Johnny Lewis stated, “Epicentre.tv’s live streaming platform, together with its monthly Boxing Program “Fight Call Out” [screened monthly on Fox Sports Australia], not only lifts the profile of Australian Boxers nationally but also and very importantly internationally”.

Through these broadcast deals epicentre.tv enables boxers to gain much sought-after international exposure, helping them not only advance their fan base but also spark the interest of major media networks to follow their profile and journey.

Luke Campbell, Epicentre.tv’s COO, states that “the partnership continues to cement Epicentre.tv as the home of boxing in Australia and we’ll be able to assist in delivering Golden Boy Promotions with a strong foothold into the current thriving boxing scene Down Under.”

Munguia is a dangerous and powerful 21-year-old puncher who has ended 25 of his 29 fights by stunning knockout.

His upcoming opponent, Smith, is a tough 29-year-old native of Liverpool England, with an impressive career of 21 victories.

Oscar De La Hoya added “Munguia vs. Smith will surely end in a spectacular knockout, so there is no better way to start this deal.”
