Electronic Arts (EA) and Visa have announced a massive, multi-year strategic collaboration designed to integrate digital payments and real-world rewards into the EA SPORTS ecosystem.
The partnership, which covers flagship titles EA SPORTS FC and EA SPORTS College Football, represents one of EA’s most expansive brand deals to date, aiming to blur the lines between virtual gameplay and physical sports fandom.
The partnership introduces several innovative features designed to feel contextually relevant to the sporting world:
Commenting on the partnership, chief experiences officer at EA, David Tinson, said: “At EA, we bring together a global community of hundreds of millions of players… Together with Visa, we’re building for the long term to create more connected, rewarding experiences for fans.”
Beyond the console, the partnership will activate during marquee real-world sporting events. A key highlight includes the Visa Infinite Saddle Club lounge at the EA SPORTS Presents Madden Bowl during Super Bowl LX. This premium activation is designed to celebrate the intersection of competition, entertainment, and culture, offering Visa Infinite cardholders unique access to the gaming world’s biggest live events.
