Droppoint Expands Partnership with Illawarra Hawks for 2025 NBL Season

Illawarra-based logistics provider Droppoint has confirmed an expanded partnership with the Illawarra Hawks for the 2025 NBL season, strengthening its position as both a commercial partner and a supporter of the club’s community presence.

The extended deal will see Droppoint back head coach Justin Tatum and his coaching staff, while also renewing its player sponsorship of forward Mason Peatling for a second consecutive year.

Sharing how the deal extends beyond conventional sponsorship, CEO of Droppoint, Jason Flanagan, said: “We’re so excited to continue our partnership with the Hawks, not just as a professional team but as a true grassroots organisation connected to this community.”

Noting the practical resonance between the two organisations, Head coach, Justin Tatum, referenced the structure and preparation required to build a competitive team, while vice chairman Terry Egger highlighted Droppoint’s commitment to both staff and players as evidence of shared long-term ambition.

Partnership activations will include a branded presence at WIN Entertainment Centre, the Hawks’ home venue, with an interactive fan-facing activation planned for every home game. This approach aligns with broader league trends, where sponsors are increasingly seeking to convert traditional signage into experiential assets that deepen fan engagement.
