Dreamworld has announced a landmark partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), becoming the Official Theme Park Partner of the Australian Olympic Team.
The agreement, which spans the Coast Entertainment portfolio including WhiteWater World and SkyPoint, marks an alignment between Australia’s largest theme park and the nation’s premier high-performance sporting body as the road to Brisbane 2032 intensifies.
The partnership focuses on immediate support for two upcoming global campaigns: the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games in February and the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games later this year.
In addition, Dreamworld will host a major media and stakeholder event on 17 February 2026, featuring a live Olympic watch party at the park. The event is designed to connect fans with athletes competing in Italy while providing a platform for formal Olympic-inspired community announcements.
Commenting on the partnership, Dreamworld CEO, Greg Yong, said: “As Australia’s biggest theme park, we’re proud to stand behind the green and gold and create experiences that inspire Australians to dream big.”
“This partnership reflects our commitment to celebrating what dreams are made of and showcasing the very best of our nation,” Yong said.
For the AOC, the collaboration provides a recognisable physical hub for athlete engagement and community celebrations.
Adding his enthusiasm about the partnership, AOC CEO, Mark Arbib, noted: “The Australian Olympic Committee is thrilled to partner with Dreamworld.”
“The most pleasing element is that the sponsorship will bring benefits for Olympians, our Member Sports and their communities,” Arbib noted.
The deal is a strategic move for Dreamworld, which has undergone a $150 million transformation including the debut of the Jungle Rush coaster.
By partnering with the Olympic movement, the organisation secures high-value brand association during peak international sporting windows.
The partnership also includes dedicated athlete appearances at SkyPoint and curated Olympic-themed guest experiences, further integrating the “green and gold” spirit into the Gold Coast’s primary tourism corridor.
