Dream11 extends deal with NBA and WNBA

Dream11, the leading digital fantasy sports platform, has announced the extension of its partnership with North American basketball’s world-leading NBA and WNBA leagues.

This multi-year renewal solidifies Dream11’s position as the official fantasy gaming partner of both leagues.

The partnership extension further strengthens the collaboration between Dream11 and the NBA, which began in the 2017-18 season with the introduction of the league’s inaugural official fantasy game in India. As part of the renewed agreement, fans in India can participate in a wide range of daily NBA and WNBA-themed fantasy games, both publicly and privately.

In these fantasy games, fans assume the role of a general manager, assembling virtual teams composed of NBA or WNBA players. Points are earned based on the real-life performance of these players on the court, adding an exciting layer of engagement for fans.

“With India being one of the fastest growing markets in the world for fantasy gaming, bolstering our presence in this space has been a key focus for us over the last few years,” Rajah Chaudhry, NBA India country head, commented.

“We have seen a significant increase in fan engagement since the launch of our official fantasy game on Dream11, and as we embark on this continued journey together, we look forward to pushing the boundaries of innovation in fantasy gaming and providing fans with even more exciting ways to connect with the NBA and WNBA.”

Dream11 has forged an extensive network of sports partnerships in recent years, particularly in cricket. In addition to its association with the NBA and WNBA, Dream11 was recently named the official fantasy sports partner of the SA20 domestic men’s Twenty20 competition in South Africa.

The brand currently holds the position of lead sponsor for the Indian men’s and women’s national cricket teams and is among several partners of the inaugural Women’s Premier League T20 franchise competition.
