Volleyball Australia, along with the FIVB and Volleyball World, have officially confirmed the dates of the 2025 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships.

Set to take place in Adelaide from November 14 to November 23, 2025, it will be the first time the championships have been held in the southern hemisphere.

Spanning ten action-packed days, the tournament guarantees top-tier beach volleyball performances at various key venues across Adelaide, including Pinky Flat, The Drive, and Torrens Parade Ground. Among these locations, The Drive Centre Court will take centre stage, hosting matches across the day and into the evening. Fans can look forward to witnessing Australian teams in action and anticipate thrilling women’s and men’s medal matches slated for the final weekend.

CEO of the Adelaide 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships, Jenny Mann, expressed her enthusiasm at the prospect of welcoming over 190 elite players representing approximately 50 nations, fresh off their appearances at the upcoming Paris Olympic Games. She highlighted the unique chance to revel in world-class beach volleyball within Adelaide’s vibrant ambience, renowned for its adeptness in hosting major sporting spectacles.

Dr. Ary da Silva Graça Filho, President of the FIVB, also shared his thoughts on selecting Adelaide as the event’s host city, praising its suitability for beach volleyball and its potential to deliver a tournament to remember. Emphasising the global appeal of beach volleyball, he exuded confidence in Adelaide’s capability to successfully host the inaugural World Championships in the region.
