Port Adelaide Football Club has announced the continuation of its partnership with Credit Union SA, extending support across both the AFL and AFLW programs for the upcoming 2025 season.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Credit Union SA will extend its backing to Power Community Limited (PCL), the club’s not-for-profit arm, with a focus on gender-based violence prevention programs in South Australian schools.

This initiative will allow the programs to reach more students across the state, with education efforts expected to impact an additional 100 students, furthering awareness and prevention.

Commenting on the partnership, Port Adelaide CEO, Matthew Richardson, said: “We’re delighted Credit Union SA has extended and expanded their support of the club.”

Credit Union SA CEO, Todd Roberts, added: “It was wonderful to be part of the club’s success both on and off the field in 2024.”

The first year of the partnership was marked by success, including initiatives such as rewarding a long-standing Port Adelaide member with a brand-new MG for taking out a home loan with Credit Union SA.

The partnership will continue to offer exclusive financial incentives for club members and Credit Union SA customers, including cashback offers on home loans and high-value prizes.

The expanded partnership will formally include support for the AFLW and PCL, providing further opportunities for women in sport and enhancing community development.

Additionally, Credit Union SA is set to support a new grassroots junior football club initiative, strengthening its engagement with the local sporting community.

This continued partnership between Port Adelaide and Credit Union SA highlights the importance of collaboration within the sports and community sectors and reinforces their commitment to driving positive social change through sport.
