he North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have announced a new, three-year partnership with Dynasty Sport, seeing the manufacturer and retail brand become the club’s new official apparel supplier and platinum partner.
Dynasty Sport will provide the Cowboys official on and off-field apparel for the next three NRL seasons as part of the deal and will work to provide a fresh look and feel to its merchandise program.
Cowboys CEO, Jeff Reibel, said the club is excited to partner with an ‘innovative supplier’ like Dynasty Sport.
“The club is about to embark upon a new era led by head coach, Todd Payten and his talented coaching and performance team, so it’s very exciting to announce today that we will be ably supported in this journey by the creative and collaborative team at Dynasty Sport,” Reibel said.
“Our two values-aligned organisations have been working feverishly behind-the-scenes for the past six months on the design and creation of the new 2021 apparel range and we look forward to seeing our players, staff, members, fans and sponsors proudly wearing our Cowboys colours in the contemporary Dynasty designs,” he said.
Cowboys general manager of commercial, Ross Aldridge, said the new platinum partnership with Dynasty Sport would deliver long-term benefits for the club, its players, and supporters.
“The Cowboys are committed to providing our players with superior quality apparel to help them perform at their best, both on the field and the training paddock and our three-year partnership with Dynasty will ensure we deliver on that,” Aldridge said.
“We also know how proudly our supporters don the kit of their team and we’re confident that the club’s new Dynasty merchandise will become a fan-favourite,” he said.
Dynasty Sport managing director, Tyler Rakich, said he was looking forward to working with the club.
“This is an incredibly exciting day for all at Dynasty Sport,” Rakich said.
“As an organisation, we are absolutely committed to providing elite and grass roots sporting teams across Australasia with the very best on and off-field sporting apparel.
“With rugby league part of the Australian sporting DNA, increasing our footprint across the code, with the right partners, has been a particular focus.
“When it comes to rugby league fans, they don’t come much more parochial, passionate or committed than North Queensland Cowboys members and supporters who travel huge distances, week after week to support their team and as a brand, Dynasty Sport very much looks forward to producing garments which not only assist the on-field team to perform at the highest level, but providing a range that the club’s amazing supporters will be proud to wear.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank North Queensland Cowboys chief executive officer, Jeff Reibel, and his executive team who were extremely proactive and positive during partnership discussions, and again as we worked with key club stakeholders to design a 2021 range which is fresh and unique, but that also pays tribute to the club’s proud history,” he said.
The newly created merchandise range is set to be revealed this week, including the 2021 home and away jerseys, training gear and polos.
