CMC Markets Sign Two-Year Sponsorship Deal With The Blues

uper Rugby franchise, The Blues, have announced a two-year partnership with financial service provider CMC Markets Group.

As part of the deal, the CMC Markets logo will be branded on the players’ shorts, along with branding on other team apparel, and signage at The Blues home stadium, Eden Park.

The announcement comes just days after The Blues extended their foundation partnership with Barfoot & Thompson.

General Manager of CMC Markets New Zealand, Chris Smith, said it was exciting for the community business to be involved with one of the leading sports teams in the country.

“CMC Markets has built a history of supporting talented and driven Kiwis in the local community, which is why it feels like a natural fit to be stepping on board as part of The Blues family this year,” Smith said.

“Via our world class trading platform, we bring the latest market data and technology to our clients so comparably we’re really excited to help bring compelling insights to all Blues fans,” he said.

The partnership will see the online trading provider sponsoring initiatives to help grow game data, statistics, and player insights, delivered to the fanbase.

The firm have been based in New Zealand for fifteen years, provides a trading platform for its clients across both CFDs and foreign exchange on multiple devices.
