The Cleveland Guardians and SeatGeek have formalised a new partnership, designating SeatGeek as the Guardians’ Official Ticket Marketplace, commencing with the 2025 season.

As Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Official Ticket Marketplace, SeatGeek will further augment its local presence within the Cleveland market.

Commenting on the partnership, senior vice president, sales and services, Tim Salcer, said: “We are pleased to designate SeatGeek as our Official Ticket Marketplace of the Cleveland Guardians.”

“We anticipate the advantages SeatGeek will confer upon our Season Ticket Member base and Guardians fans, as well as their integration into our Infield Lounge and Boxes,” he said.

Sarah Kettler, VP of marketing and communications at SeatGeek, added: “SeatGeek is committed to partnering with the Cleveland Guardians to deliver an optimal shopping experience for verified tickets to Progressive Field”.

“This alliance further expands our market presence in Cleveland, building on our existing partnerships with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Rocket Arena, as well as the Cleveland Monsters. We are focused on enhancing the ticketing experience for all fans as we continue to expand within the region,” Kettler said.

The partnership encompasses a range of high-value assets within and around Progressive Field, including the naming rights of the recently renovated SeatGeek Infield Lounge and Boxes.

SeatGeek will also collaborate with the Guardians to optimise the experience for season ticket members, notably through its role as the presenting sponsor of Guardians Season Ticket Appreciation Week.

This collaboration will facilitate season ticket members’ understanding of SeatGeek’s advanced features for purchasing and reselling Guardians tickets on the platform.

This partnership will provide Guardians season ticket members and fans access to SeatGeek’s “Next Fan Up” suite, a collection of innovative features designed to streamline ticket resale and optimize seat value.
