St. Louis CITY SC is taking a stride in enhancing its community engagement as it partners with one of the region’s most cherished attractions, the Saint Louis Zoo.

This collaboration marks the Zoo as a Proud Partner for both St. Louis CITY SC and its reserve team, St. Louis CITY2, reflecting the club’s commitment to fostering family-friendly environments and connections.

Commenting on the partnership, vice president of Corporate Partnerships for St. Louis CITY SC, Matt Poling, said: “The CITY2 matches have quickly become one of the most desirable family-friendly events in town, offering an affordable yet competitive soccer experience.”

He further emphasised the value of the Zoo’s support in enhancing match day enjoyment and building a future generation of CITY fans.

Echoing this sentiments and noting the synergy between the soccer and zoo communities within St. Louis, Kirby Meyer, Director of Marketing at the Saint Louis Zoo, “Recognising St. Louis as both a soccer city and a zoo city, our partnership is a natural fit. We are eager to provide memorable experiences for local families and kids,” he stated.

The partnership will be evident at CITY2 matches, known for their family-centric atmosphere and kid-oriented experiences.

Fans can anticipate various on-site activations, digital signage, and interactive features throughout the stadium, both in person and across social media platforms.

Notably, the Zoo will serve as the presenting partner for CITY2’s upcoming match against Sporting Kansas City II, scheduled for Sunday, August 24, at Energizer Park. The match will also include a special giveaway presented by the Zoo, enriching the matchday experience.
