Chubb Becomes Official Global Insurance Partner of Australian Open

Chubb has been announced as the Official Global Insurance Partner for the Australian Open in a new multi-year partnership.

The world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company, Chubb, will receive brand visibility at Australian Open events in the form of on-court signage.

Tennis Australia’s chief revenue officer, Richard Heaselgrave, said Chubb’s history and operations make them an ideal partner for the Australian Open.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Chubb, a leading global insurance company with operations in 54 countries and territories.

“Chubb’s international growth and profile align perfectly with the Australian Open and we look forward to a productive partnership over the coming years,” Mr Heaselgrave said.

Chubb’s regional president for Asia Pacific, Paul McNamee, commended the Australian Open on their work and values ahead of the partnership.

“Chubb is proud to announce our partnership with the Australian Open, the Grand Slam of Asia Pacific,” Mr McNamee said.

“It is a world-class event which encourages inclusion, community service and the pursuit of excellence, all values which we cherish at Chubb.

“My colleagues and I are looking forward to sharing our story with the growing audience in Asia Pacific and around the world,” he said.

Australian Open 2020 will commence at Melbourne Park on 20 January and will run until 2 February.
