A new six-year deal will see Capgemini become a worldwide partner of golf’s Ryder Cup until 2027.
The new agreement with PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe builds on Capgemini’s role as the worldwide supplier for this year’s tournament, where the USA will host Europe at Whistling Straits from 24th to 26th September.
The deal will see Capgemini provide technical support and solutions to both the PGA of America and Ryder Cup while promoting the event across its international locations.Â
The European Tour’s deputy chief executive, Ryder Cup director and chief commercial officer, Guy Kinnings, said: “Technology plays such an integral role in a modern Ryder Cup and Capgemini’s innovation and expertise in this area will unquestionably enhance our ability to successfully deliver one of the world’s most-watched sporting contests.”
After this years event, the deal will elevate Capgemini as the top-tier sponsor category for the 2023 edition in Rome, the 2025 tournament in Farmingdale, and the 2027 instalment in County Limerick.
Capgemini continues to build its name, earlier this year also becoming a worldwide sponsor of the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
Capgemini will now join a list of worldwide sponsors for the Ryder Cup, this year including, Aon, BMW, BP, RBC and Rolex.
