Campaignware Partners With Super Rugby Clubs To Enhance Fan Engagement

As the 2023 Super Rugby season approaches, the four New Zealand clubs, have teamed up with Campaignware, a leading digital fan engagement platform, to enhance fan engagement and sponsor activation.

Campaignware’s platform offers more than 50 fan-favourite gamified campaigns, including voting, squad predictors, quizzes, leaderboards, spin and wins, and more. These campaigns will be customisable to suit each club’s unique branding and fanbase, ensuring a high-quality fan experience.

In addition to gamified campaigns, Campaignware’s platform also allows the clubs to gather valuable first-party fan data, providing new insights into fan behaviour and preferences.

This data will then be used to inform future marketing strategies and improve the overall fan experience.

Commenting on the partnership, Campaignware founder, Adam Mussa, said: “We’re delighted to be working with the Super Rugby NZ clubs to elevate their digital engagement and sponsor activation initiatives and thank them all for their trust.”

“This agreement reinforces our goal of providing the highest quality of technology and client support to every organisation and brand in the sporting community and look forward to embarking on this digital transformation journey with the clubs,” he said.

Hurricanes head of sponsor relations, Katie Smith, added: “Of all the platforms we had been shown, Campaignware stood out to us as the easiest way to take our digital and commercial plans to the next level.”

“We’re very excited as a club to see how our commercial partners will benefit from this service, and how our fan engagement plans will come to life.

“This platform is so user-friendly that everyone in our team can use it, and the support that Campaignware provide is second to none,” she said.

The partnership will also see the four clubs activate their core sponsorships using Campaignware’s platform, creating new opportunities for sponsors to engage with fans both in-stadium and at home.
