Broncos Join Forces with 4Voices to Tackle Women’s Crisis and Homelessness

The Brisbane Broncos have announced a community partnership with 4Voices, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the more than 50,000 Australian women currently without a safe place to call home.

Last Friday night’s highly anticipated “Battle of Brisbane” against the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium served as a major fundraising platform, with 4Voices named as the official beneficiary of the 50-50 Charity Raffle.

Highlighting the vital nature of these mobile hubs, 4Voices CEO and founder, Jo Westh, said: “Each week, our volunteers meet women where they’re at… while our phone support service reaches those who are physically isolated.”

The visibility provided by a prime-time NRL fixture allows the organisation to reach a massive audience, raising both funds and awareness for a crisis that often remains hidden from the public eye.

4Voices operates a unique service model featuring a fleet of customised, solar-powered vans that act as mobile support hubs. These vans travel across 35 communities, including Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, the Gold Coast, and both Inner and Western Sydney.

By meeting women on the streets, in shelters, and in parks, the organisation provides a judgment-free environment equipped with essential technology, emergency vouchers, and resources to help women find immediate safety and financial relief.

The 50-50 Charity Raffle presents a high-value engagement opportunity for fans, with a guaranteed minimum cash prize of $40,000. Beyond the potential windfall for supporters, the commercial objective is to drive significant charitable revenue to fund 4Voices’ frontline operations.

A $20 donation provides an essential food voucher, while $70 can fund a mobile phone, providing a critical lifeline for a woman to connect with support services.

The funds raised will directly support the maintenance of the solar-powered fleet and the expansion of 4Voices’ phone support service for physically isolated women.
