Brisbane Heat Partner With BCF For BBL|09

The Brisbane Heat have announced a new sponsorship with BCF, which will see the outdoor retailer’s logo on the sleeve of Heat players throughout the Big Bash League (BBL) season.

The deal will see BCF also support the Women’s Big Bash League finals at Allan Border Field this weekend and feature in Heat digital and video content throughout the upcoming BBL|09 season.

Brisbane Heat general manager, Andrew McShea, said the partnership between the Heat and BCF further shows the club’s commitment to be a family-focused brand.

“The Brisbane Heat has a clear purpose of bringing families together,” McShea said.

“We do this by playing an entertaining brand of T20 (Twenty20 cricket), putting on an exciting game-day experience, inspiring the next generation of fans to play our game, and by aligning ourselves with brands who share in our values of family and outdoor summer fun.

“BCF do this perfectly.

“The BBL is all about spending time with friends and family during the summer holidays and enjoying the great weather and outdoor lifestyle Queensland and Australia are blessed with, making the Heat and BCF a great fit.

“Our fans and players love fishing, camping, surfing and just about any outdoor activity South East Queensland has to offer, so there is going to be a lot of excitement around our new partnership.

“We look forward to a great summer ahead working with the BCF team,” he said.

BCF general manager, marketing, Ben McConnell, said the partnership is a great way for both organisations to share their goal of encouraging family fun and enjoying the summer.

“We look forward to working closely with Andrew McShea and the wider team to produce some engaging and exciting content for the summer cricket season,” McConnell said.

The Brisbane Heat will be activating the BCF supported digital and video content throughout the upcoming BBL|09 season at home games set to take place at the Gabba in Brisbane and Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.
