Boral Extends Baseball Australia Deal Through To 2021

Building and construction materials supplier, Boral, has extended its deal with Baseball Australia and will continue to support Team Australia on baseball’s world stage.

Under the new deal, Boral will hold presenting rights of Team Australia through to July 2021, including at the nation’s Premier12 debut in November.

Boral will also continue their multi-year partnership with the Emeralds, backing the women’s national team as they embark on the 2020 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup.

Baseball Australia chief executive, Cam Vale, said Boral’s commitment to baseball had been significant and was thrilled their support would continue.

“It looms as a huge 12 months for our national teams and having the support of Boral is a significant boost as we chase success on the world stage,” Vale said.

“Boral has played a key role in the achievements of the Emeralds and growth of baseball in Australia across the past decade.

“We hope that success will continue with Boral’s backing of our men’s national team as we chase an Olympic berth at November’s Premier12.”

The Boral Australian Emeralds played seven games against the Japan All-Stars in Bendigo last week as they prepare for next year’s Women’s Baseball World Cup.

Boral Team Australia’s Premier12 campaign gets underway on November 6 against hosts South Korea.
