Boost Mobile Renews Major WSL APAC Partnership for 2026 Season

Boost Mobile has officially extended its long-term commitment to professional surfing, renewing its position as the Official Telecommunications Partner of the World Surf League (WSL) Australia for 2026.

This renewal ensures the youth-focused telco remains integrated across all four major Australian stops, including the Championship Tour events in Victoria, Western Australia, and Queensland, as well as the Challenger Series in Newcastle.

Praising the partnership’s longevity, and noting that Boost has supported the sport in Australia for over two decades, WSL APAC president, Andrew Stark, said: “Their continued presence at our major events across multiple states reflects a shared commitment to the strength of the sport.”

Echoing his sentiments, and added that surfing is in the brand’s “DNA,” Boost Mobile CEO, Bobby Geldens, added: “We’re proud to power that connection every day for the athletes and fans who inspire millions around the world.”

The 2026 agreement will see the return of the popular ‘Boost Mobile Heat of the Day’ across broadcast and social media platforms to drive digital engagement.

On the ground, the brand will deploy high-impact activations including a rooftop viewing deck at the iconic Bells Beach and a custom skate ramp and DJ installation for the Gold Coast event.

As a leading provider on the full Telstra Prepaid Mobile Network, Boost Mobile continues to leverage its sports portfolio to connect with a demographic that prioritises data-heavy streaming and content sharing.

Boost Mobile will also maintain its individual athlete sponsorships, cheering on high-profile ambassadors Jack Robinson and Sally Fitzgibbons throughout the competitive calendar.
