The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has announced the extension of its partnership with Boost Mobile, making the telco an Official Partner for the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s and Ninja A-League Women’s competitions. This renewal builds on their initial involvement during the 2023/24 season, including the A-Leagues Finals Series and All Stars events
The partnership will emphasise support for youth in football, highlighted by the continued sponsorship of the Boost Young Footballer of the Year award at the Dolan Warren Awards. This initiative aligns with Boost Mobile’s commitment to increasing the visibility of players under 23 and enhancing the overall fan experience
Jason Haynes, CEO of Boost Mobile, expressed excitement about the partnership’s potential, noting football’s rapid growth in Australia, with over two million participants and a strong focus on inclusivity. Meanwhile, A-Leagues Chief Commercial Officer Ned Negus remarked on Boost Mobile’s contributions during the previous season, particularly their efforts to enhance attendance and engagement at key events, which are crucial for the continued growth of the leagues.
As the A-League Men kick off their 20th anniversary season on October 18, and the Ninja A-League Women begin on November 1, both leagues anticipate that this partnership will further promote the sport and engage fans throughout the season
