Basketball Australia And Victor Sports Renew With Three-Year Partnership

Basketball Australia has announced Victor Sports will continue as its official sports medical supplier after signing a three-year extension.

The deal will see Victor Sports continue to supply Basketball Australia national teams and the Centre of Excellence programs with its range of sports medical products for the eleventh consecutive year.

Victor Sports director, Andrew Shenker, said he is excited to be continuing the strong partnership with Basketball Australia for another three years.

“Basketball Australia and its national teams are key members of our partner portfolio and demonstrate our commitment to working with Australia’s elite basketball players across all age groups,” Shenker said.

Victor Sports currently supplies products including strapping tape, sports medicine items, braces, footcare, injury prevention, rehabilitation and first aid products to Basketball Australia and its national teams.

Basketball Australia head of commercial partnerships, Glen Towers, said it’s important for Basketball Australia to continue to strengthen this strong partnership with Victor Sports.

“We are delighted to continue our association with Victor Sports for a further three-year term and thank Andrew and his team for their ongoing support of basketball in Australia,” Towers said.

The partnership is set to cover all of Australia’s 22 national teams, including national junior championships, the Boomers, Chemist Warehouse Opals, Rollers and Gliders who currently compete in Olympic and Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games and the FIBA World Championships.
