Bandits Renew Major Deal With China Airlines

With only a couple months remaining before the start of the 2019/20 Australian Baseball League (ABL) season, the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits have renewed major partner, China Airlines, as the clubs official international airline.

“This was a landmark agreement when signed last year and marked a significant milestone in the growing relationship between Queensland and Taiwan,” Brisbane Bandits CEO, Adrian Lamb, said.

“We were the first sporting team chosen by China Airlines to partner with, which was incredibly exciting.

“Renewing that agreement shows the incredible trust and value China Airlines places in the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits.”

“We intend to continue deepening and strengthening our relationship with Taiwan.

“This partnership with China Airlines is the gateway of greater things to come, stay tuned.”

China Airlines, which flies direct to Taipei and Auckland from Brisbane has been instrumental in flying Bandits staff and players to New Zealand and around the world.

Principal Owner Mark Ready said “The service is amazing having flown to the Republic of China and Europe in business class on their new Airbus A350-900 I have nothing but high praise.

“At half the cost of some airlines but twice the service I highly recommend you give China Airlines a go, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

General Manager of China Airlines in Brisbane, Mr Ray Chang, said: “It’s exciting to be continuing the partnership with Australia’s most famous Baseball Franchise.

“We are very proud to be associated with the four-time consecutive champions Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits.

“Brisbane is a very important part of the China Airlines network now with our daily services between Brisbane and Auckland.

“We are very supportive of this great initiative in aligning our two brands together because like in Australia the Bandits are also very famous in Taiwan and New Zealand and we know how hard the Bandits work to bring Taiwan and Queensland closer together through sport.”

China Airlines flagship new planes the Airbus A350-900’s are now linking Australia with the rest of the world with daily flights.

China Airlines also operates return flights daily from Brisbane to Auckland, meaning the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits supporters have the best opportunity to follow the team to New Zealand to watch them play the Auckland Tuatara.
