Australian SailGP Team Announces Multi-Year Partnership

The Australian SailGP Team has announced a multi-year partnership with Campari Australia’s SKYY Vodka, with the deal also extending into the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix.

The partnership will see SKYY provide fans with immersive experiences by co-hosting hospitality events, including a pop-up bar at the SailGP Village.

Additionally, SKYY will work with the Australian team to engage with local sailing communities and clubs with a program which will provide the opportunity for clubs to engage and support them.

Commenting on the partnership, Australian SailGP Team driver and CEO, Tom Slingsby, said: “The team is stoked to welcome SKYY Vodka into the family and have them alongside us as we compete on the world stage.”

“Our team loves to celebrate with our drink of choice, a vodka soda, and their rich history and shared connection to San Francisco is the perfect fit for us.

“I’m really excited for us to share in the coming months the fantastic opportunities we have with SKYY Vodka to also engage and celebrate with our Australian sailing community who have supported us on our SailGP journey,” he said.

Campari Australia managing director, Simon Durrant, added: “We are absolutely delighted to announce SKYY Vodka’s partnership with the Australia SailGP Team and the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix I Sydney event – one of THE events of Sydney’s summer.”

“The Australia Team is one of the most innovative, successful, and progressive teams in the global championship and we cannot wait to collaborate with them to create opportunities to engage with the sailing community in Australia.

“We are also looking forward to supporting the Australia SailGP Team through the rest of the season where we hope to share a celebratory drink with them at the final event in SKYY Vodka’s hometown of San Francisco,” he said.

The announcement comes after KPMG won the naming rights to the Sydney SailGP.
