Tennis Australia has announced a new multi-year partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, seeing the international hotel brand become the official hotel partner for the 2022 Australian Open.
With the new partnership ahead of the Australian Open on 17 January, Marriott Bonvoy will host tennis VIPs and tournament officials across its hotels in Australia including W Melbourne, The Ritz-Carlton in Perth, Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands, and The Tasman in Hobart.
The partnership will also provide an opportunity for Marriott Bonvoy members to access a range of VIP experiences, access to all matches, and the company’s private hospitality suite at the 2022 event.
Tennis Australia CEO and Australian Open tournament director, Craig Tiley, said: “We are delighted to welcome Marriott Bonvoy to the Australian Open partner family.”
“Just as we aim to create memorable moments for our fans as they watch the world’s best in action on court, Marriott Bonvoy provides unforgettable experiences for their guests across an unrivalled portfolio of hotels.

Along with the announcement, Marriott Bonvoy also announced it has signed Australian athlete and current women’s world no.1, Ash Barty as an ambassador for the ‘Summer of Tennis’.
