The new kit deal is said to be worth US$391 million over the next five years.
Arsenal will double its money compared to its current kit deal with German brand Puma, which is worth around US$39 million per year.
It will become the third most lucrative arrangement in world soccer, followed only by Manchester United’s US$98 million-a-year deal with Adidas and Barcelona’s staggering US$183 million-a-year Nike partnership bring in more.
Arsenal’s last kit supply deal with Adidas ran from the 1986/87 seasons until the conclusion of the 1993/94 campaign, with several of those designs becoming cult classics and re-released as unbranded collectibles by the club.
