Arena Launches ‘Founding Circle’ to Revolutionise Sports and Entertainment Networking

Arena, a new professional networking platform designed specifically for the sports, media, and entertainment sectors, has officially opened applications for its exclusive Founding Circle.

The initiative targets high-level professionals aiming to move beyond traditional, low-impact networking to build meaningful relationships that drive commercial opportunities.

The platform’s creators argue that the current networking environment in the industry often results in “echo chamber convos” or random meetings that fail to progress. Arena is built on the philosophy that the conversation needs to change “from collecting contacts to creating relationships that actually move the needle.”

The Founding Circle is limited to the first 100 approved industry leaders, granting them early access and influence over the platform’s development ahead of its public launch scheduled for 26 January 2026.

The core concept behind the platform is centred on intention and organisation:

  • Curation: Every Monday, members receive curated introductions to industry leaders whose goals are aligned with their own within sports, media, and entertainment.
  • Matching: Once a match is mutually agreed upon, a meeting is arranged, facilitating a high-intent conversation.
  • Outcomes: This structured approach aims to rapidly convert connections into collaborations, partnerships, and new business opportunities.

The platform has already proven its value through a private beta phase involving 500 members ranging from Manager to C-Suite level. These beta participants hailed from major global organisations, including Netflix, CAA, Warner Bros, the NFL, Nike, Spotify, and ESPN.

According to the platform, these members have already secured partnerships, clients, and speaking engagements through the curated weekly introductions.

The limited Founding Circle membership provides more than just early access; members are positioned to shape the future of professional connectivity in the sector. These initial members also receive exclusive access to forthcoming events, experiences, and offers.

Given the high demand reported immediately following the internal announcement, Arena has stressed that applications will close once the 100-member threshold is reached.
