Logistics and delivery provider Aramex has confirmed the conclusion of its major front-of-jersey partnership with Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, effective at the end of the commercial agreement on 31 October 2026. The exit ends a six-year principal sponsorship term that commenced in 2021.
During the six-year partnership, the Sharks achieved consistent on-field performance across the NRL competition, securing finals qualifications in five of the six seasons.
On-field milestones during Aramex’s principal tenure included a second-place regular season finish in 2022 and consecutive preliminary final appearances under head coach Craig Fitzgibbon in 2024 and 2025.
Aramex Oceania regional director, Mark Little, expressed appreciation for the collaborative tenure with the Sharks’ executive leadership, playing group, and membership base.
“While we are disappointed that our official partnership will not continue next season, our affection for the team and its community remains as strong as ever.”
“We are proud of everything we have achieved together and look forward to continuing to support and engage with the broader community.
“As our major sponsorship with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the fans, players and coaching team, led by Craig Fitzgibbon, for making this partnership an unparalleled success.
“It has been an extraordinary privilege to feature on the jersey and to share in the deep passion, pride and loyalty that make this club so unique.
“Over the past six years, the partnership has delivered exceptional results, strengthened our connection with fans and the wider community, and created many memorable moments along the way,” Little said.
Aramex’s major investment extended beyond the primary NRL squad to encompass women’s elite pathways, junior league development, and regional charitable activations across the Sutherland Shire:
The Cronulla Sharks executive team has commenced commercial market negotiations for a new principal front-of-jersey partner across its NRL assets for the 2027 season and beyond.
