EA SPORTS™ and The NFL have announced a new multi-year partnership aimed at growing the reach of American football worldwide.
The agreement represents the most comprehensive collaboration to date between the two organisations.
Under this renewed partnership, EA SPORTS Madden NFL will continue as the exclusive action simulation game for NFL football, while expanding its community-focused features and immersive experiences.
The deal also covers EA SPORTS College Football and introduces new large-scale interactive experiences designed to promote social connection, self-expression, and next-generation gameplay.
Commenting on the partnership, president of EA SPORTS, Cam Weber, said: “EA SPORTS and the NFL have built one of the most iconic partnerships in all of sports and entertainment.”
“With more than 2 billion Madden NFL games played each year, the global football community has never been stronger.”
“Together, we’re shaping the interactive future of football—expanding Madden, growing College Football, and creating breakthrough experiences for the next generation of fans,” Weber said.
Executive vice president and chief revenue officer at the NFL, Renie Anderson, added: “Madden NFL has become one of the most recognized and culturally relevant gaming franchises in the world.”
“As we enter this new chapter, we remain focused on delivering the most authentic simulation gameplay and unique fan experiences,” Anderson noted.
Today, players simulate the equivalent of 23,000 NFL seasons daily in Madden NFL, demonstrating its cultural impact and connection to fans across console, PC, and mobile platforms.
Beyond gaming, EA SPORTS and the NFL are expanding football’s digital ecosystem. EA SPORTS recently served as the presenting sponsor of the 2025 NFL Dublin Game and NFL Experience Dublin, and will soon bring the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS) to new international audiences including its first-ever competition in Spain, alongside the 2025 NFL Madrid Game.
