The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have announced a strategic partnership with St Laurence’s College, aimed at establishing a dedicated training centre for the club’s contracted players in South East Queensland.

This collaboration grants Bulldogs pathways players access to the College’s facilities, such as Gair Oval and high-performance training areas.

Additionally, the Bulldogs will support coaching development and enhance player engagement for St Laurence’s staff and students.

Commenting on the partnership, the Bulldogs’ general manager of Pathways, Adam Hartigan, said: “This partnership with St Laurence’s College offers significant benefits for our contracted players residing in South East Queensland.”

“The partnership lays the groundwork our Queensland-based players need to achieve success at the highest levels,” Hartigan said.

St Laurence’s College principal, Ben Lowrie, added: “We are incredibly excited about this partnership with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs,” remarked Lowrie.

The availability of a high-quality training base allows pathways players to continue their development in a familiar environment while also aligning with the professional standards expected by the Bulldogs.

This arrangement is anticipated to facilitate a smoother transition for players when they eventually move to Sydney.

This collaboration not only reinforces the Bulldogs’ commitment to nurturing talent in Queensland but also enhances the educational and sporting prospects for St Laurence’s College, fostering a mutually beneficial environment for both organisations.
