2026 Milano Cortina Committee Announce Esselunga Partnership

The Milan Cortina 2026 organising committee has announced the first partnership of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, with Italian supermarket chain, Esselunga, joining the event.

The deal will see Esselunga produce message to promote exercise and a balanced diet, as the organising committee aims to secure EUR€1.58 billion (AUD$2.31 billion) in sponsorships,

Esselunga executive chairman, Marina Caprotti, said: “We are very happy to be able to announce this partnership.”

“The decision to support the organising committee of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter games correlates with our desire to make our contribution to further promote excellence in the world and celebrate the values that sport represents,” she said

President, Milano Cortina 2026 Organising committee and Italian National Olympic Committee, Giovanni Malago, added: “The Olympic Agenda 2020 + 5, introduced by the International Olympic Committee, marked a radical turning point in the history of sport by placing the theme of environmental, social and economic sustainability at the centre.”

“This is why it is a source of great pride that Esselunga has chosen to walk alongside us in this magnificent adventure, testifying once again to its bond with the world of sport and with the values that Milano Cortina 2026 wants to represent,” Malago said.

The 2026 Winter Olympic games will run from 6-22 February, followed by the Winter Paralympic Games from 6-15 March
