2022 Commonwealth Games Radio Rights Go To SEN

A new partnership between the Seven Network and Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will see SEN gain the exclusive Australian radio rights for the upcoming Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

SEN will broadcast Seven’s live commentary feed from 28 July to the end of the Games on 8 August, with SEN to deliver additional dedicated programming, previews and analysis in the lead up to and during the event.

SEN’s coverage of the Commonwealth Games will be broadcast across radio stations including 1116 SEN (Melbourne), 1170 SEN (Sydney) and the soon to be launched SENQ 693 (Brisbane), as well as on digital channels and the SEN app.

SEN CEO, Craig Hutchison, said he was looking forward to the extensive coverage of every moment during the Games to be broadcast across SEN.

“We are delighted to bring our listeners live and exclusive broadcast coverage from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games,” Hutchison said.

“We will be a prime destination for fans who want to enjoy live commentary as the Aussies go for gold, while also going in depth to discuss our athletes and teams,” he said.

SEN also suggested further information regarding their dedicated and exclusive Commonwealth Games programming and hosting talent will be announced closer to the start of the event.
