2021 NFL Draft Boasts Third-Highest Viewership Numbers

leveland have hosted the third most-watched NFL draft with an average viewership of 6.1 million across television and streaming platforms.

The first round of the draft averaged 12.6 million viewers, the second highest audience numbers behind the first round of the 2020 draft, which reached 15.3 million, according to Neilson statistics.

SportsPro Media reports there was an average per minute audience of 598,000 for this year’s first round, across the NFL digital platforms; EPSN, ESPN Deportes and ABC platforms.

A 54 per cent increase on numbers from 2019.

Draft hosts, Cleveland had the highest host city draft rating on record, averaging a 10.9HH rating according to the NFL.

The 2020 draft, which holds the record for most watched, was held virtually and reached an average of 8.4 Million over the three-day draft.

The viewer numbers remain strong with the NFL reporting that the three most-watched drafts in the league’s history, have occurred over the last 3 years.
