The One New Zealand Warriors have announced new partnerships with Gatorade and V Energy ahead of the 2025 NRL season. The deals, described as multi-year agreements, establish Gatorade as the club’s official hydration partner and V Energy as the official energy drink partner. These collaborations bring two globally recognised brands to the Warriors as the team prepares for another demanding 27-round campaign.

Glenn Critchley, the Warriors’ general manager of commercial and consumer business, expressed enthusiasm for the partnerships, highlighting how both brands align with the team’s values and performance needs. Gatorade’s long-standing reputation for supporting athletic performance and V Energy’s vibrant, energetic brand ethos were key factors in their selection. Critchley noted that these partnerships not only support the players on the field but also reflect the spirited identity of the Warriors as one of New Zealand’s most iconic rugby league teams.

Suntory Oceania, the parent company of Gatorade and V Energy, emphasised its commitment to the partnership. Chief commercial officer Brad Erceg described the deal as a natural fit for the company’s mission to support Kiwi communities and culture. He added that Suntory Oceania is proud to play a role in energising the Warriors’ journey, reflecting the company’s growing presence in the region. Chief marketing officer Allison Yorston echoed this sentiment, describing the partnerships as a celebration of energy, resilience, and excellence—qualities shared by both brands and the Warriors.

These partnerships go beyond branding, offering strategic value to the team. Gatorade’s expertise in sports hydration is expected to enhance player performance, while V Energy’s dynamic image aligns with the Warriors’ energetic and passionate approach to the game. Suntory Oceania’s involvement also signals a broader investment in New Zealand’s sports industry, leveraging its strong local connections to create deeper engagement with fans.
