Following the recent partnership announcement with Gage Roads Brew Co, Touch Football Australia (TFA) has announced two new partnerships, bringing in both DoorDash and Red Rooster.
With the DoorDash partnership, touch football clubs across Australia will have the opportunity to apply for grants as part of a $100,000 grant-based funding program, with the application period open for one month until 15 March.
DoorDash Australia general manager, Rebecca Burrows, said the grant program will see DoorDash hope to support the recovery of Australian social sport after the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are proud to be partnering with Touch Football Australia to support the local clubs that champion friendship, connection, fitness and fun within their teams,” Burrows said.
“At DoorDash, we are passionate about local communities and delivering good, so we’re proud and honoured to be able to contribute in a tangible way.
“The Footy Cash from DoorDash funding grant allows us to acknowledge the impact that these clubs have on their communities and say thank you by being able to provide the infrastructure and resources they need to keep supporting the players, coaches, families and members,” she said.
Elsewhere, the Red Rooster partnership will see the brand become a major partner of NRL Touch Football for the next three years, serving as the official quick service restaurant of NRL Touch Football.
As part of the partnership, brokered with assistance by MJP Projects, Red Rooster will take content ownership of TFA’s expanded broadcast production on Kayo, with key brand integration across events and digital assets.
On the Red Rooster partnership, TFA CEO, Jamie O’Connor, said: “We’re incredibly fortunate to have prominent brands such as Red Rooster choose to partner with our sport.”
“Red Rooster and TFA share many similar attributes, both are family and community focused and I’m looking forward to working together over the next three years to continue and expand this focus,” O’Connor said.
