With the first round of the 2022-23 NBL season wrapping up tonight, here are the latest commercial partnerships.
Melbourne United:
Melbourne United has announced an extension with major partner, Roll’d Vietnamese.
The extension marks the fifth season the pair have spent together, as they aim to develop relationships at the grassroots level.
Commenting on the partnership, United CEO, Nick Truelson, said: “As one of the most multicultural and diverse cities globally, we are so proud to have extended our long-term major partnership with one of Australia’s fastest growing QSR healthy brands in Roll’d for a fifth season.”
“Finding like-minded partners who share a common purpose isn’t easy and we are so thankful to Bao and his team at Roll’d for their continued support of the team on and off the court.
“We have some exciting new initiatives to launch with Roll’d for NBL23 and we can’t wait to share them with our passionate fans,” he said.
Melbourne United has also announced a collaboration with partner, DoorDash, where the pair are set to provide thousands of meals through FoodBank.
Tasmania JackJumpers:
The JackJumpers have announced a partnership with gas retailer, Tas Gas, who will continue their support of the team for the next two seasons.
The deal sees Tas Gas help the NBL side create high-octane entertainment at the MyState Bank Arena and Launceston Silverdome.
Commenting on the partnership, JackJumpers chief commercial and customer officer, Christine Finnegan, said: “It’s a wonderful synergy to have Tasmania’s leading gas company supporting the dynamic energy of the JackJumpers and our hype squad.”
“There’s never a dull moment at any JackJumpers game and the Tas Gas JumpSquad are crucial to elevating the energy of the crowd during time-outs and quarter break,” she said.
Tas Gas will also be the team’s main game day activation partner until at least the 2023-24 NBL season.
South East Melbourne Phoenix:
The Phoenix has announced the extension of their major partnership with Ashfords for NBL23.
The deal sees Ashfords continue as the presenting partner of Phoenix’s PNX networking events and corporate hospitality, while also receiving branding on court with the LED at home games.
Commenting on the partnership, Phoenix CEO, Tommy Greer, said: “It’s exciting to have the local South East company Ashfords back on board for another season.”
“Having an organisation who value community on board with the Phoenix is what we pride ourselves on,” he said.
