TLA Worldwide Sign Exclusive Deal With Supercars Champion Scott McLaughlin

Global talent agency, TLA Worldwide, has expanded into Motorsports with the signing of 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Champion, Scott McLaughlin.

With five offices across Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and London, TLA will manage all commercial, sponsorship, PR and communication interests of McLaughlin throughout the 2019 season.

TLA will work alongside McLaughlin’s Supercars team the Shell V-Power Racing Team (formally known as DJR Team Penske) as part of the arrangement, which sees McLaughlin as TLA’s only current Supercars driver for the foreseeable future as part of the agency’s commitment to him.

“It’s a pleasure to join the team at TLA,” McLaughlin said.

“To be among a group of Australia’s most successful sportsmen and women was a huge drawcard and is also something I view as a major personal achievement for me.

“I’m very excited for the next step in my career as a TLA athlete.”

TLA’s current talent list includes some of the highest profiles in Australian sport including Australian ODI cricket captain Aaron Finch, Adelaide Crows AFLW captain Erin Phillips, Olympic gold medallists Mack Horton, Emma McKeon and the Campbell sisters as well as Australian Diamonds Captain Caitlin Bassett and Collingwood Football Club coach Nathan Buckley.

“It’s wonderful to have Scotty join TLA in what is an exciting era for the sport,” Head of Talent at TLA, Tony Box said.

“Our team is looking forward to the challenge of working with a key driver in the category once again.

“We have a heap of respect for what Scotty and his team have been able to achieve and look forward to working with existing stakeholders and of course new stakeholders that we can introduce to the sport through an association with Scotty.”

The New Zealand born driver has had a stellar start to the season, winning five out of the six races so far this year.
