After the recent announcement of Century Batteries extending its partnership with Supercars as the official battery partner of the championship and Bathurst 1000, Battery World has become the official battery retailer of the Repco Bathurst 1000.
As part of the new partnership between Battery World and Supercars’ Bathurst 1000, the brand will take trackside signage on the front straight at Mount Panorama in 2022 and 2023.
Battery World general manager, Johnny Kennedy, said the deal is a sign of the company’s long-term support of motorsport in Australia, in the Australian market for 25 years.
“Battery World is extremely excited to be partnering with the iconic Repco Bathurst 1000,” Kennedy said.
“It’s a privilege to be the official battery retailer of Bathurst and we can’t wait to be part of this historical and exciting time in the Australian motorsports calendar, attended by thousands and watched by millions of fans.
“Our customers and franchisees love everything about cars, so it is a fitting collaboration.
“We’re there to support everyone road-tripping and/or camping at Bathurst, so make sure you visit your local Battery World before you set off.
“We’ve been powering Australians for 25 years, so what better way to celebrate than at Mt Panorama in October,” he said.
Supercars general manager of commercial, Jamie Black, said: “Battery World has been a supporter of motorsport and Supercars for many years.”
“To have Australia’s largest battery retailer on board as a partner of the Repco Bathurst 1000 is great news for the event and our category,” Black said.
