Stream Hatchet has officially been appointed as the Official Data and Insights Partner for the upcoming 2025 edition of the Esports World Cup (EWC).
This partnership signifies a step forward in the integration of data analytics within the esports sector.
Commenting on the partnership, chief commercial officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation, Mohammed Al Nimer, said: “Bringing Stream Hatchet’s leading technology into EWC operations shows just how committed we are to pushing esports to new professional heights.”
“This partnership means everyone involved – from teams and sponsors to fans and media – will get an unprecedented look into tournament performance and engagement,” Al Nimer said.
Set to commence next week and running until August 24th, the tournament will be enhanced by Stream Hatchet’s robust suite of real-time analytics, performance dashboards, and in-depth insights related to the event.
This initiative aims at providing a clearer picture of the tournament dynamics and participant engagement.
The Esports World Cup Foundation, the event’s organising body, will oversee media outreach strategies for Stream Hatchet, facilitating social media campaigns and data releases throughout the duration of the tournament.
Stream Hatchet has established itself as a vital player within the esports ecosystem, delivering valuable metrics on livestreaming content across major platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Kick.
This wealth of experience is expected to significantly contribute to the insights provided during the EWC.
Last year, Stream Hatchet renewed its partnership with Riot Games, further solidifying its reputation in the industry.
Additionally, the company is known for its annual gaming and esports trends report, which offers vital viewership insights critical to understanding market dynamics.
GameSquare, Stream Hatchet’s parent company, continues to make waves in the gaming and esports arena. It owns several ventures, including the well-known esports team FaZe Clan, which it officially acquired last year.
