Forex CFD broker, IC Markets, has been announced as a global partner of the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens by governing body, World Rugby, which will feature 24 men’s and 16 women’s teams.
The deal sees IC Markets bring its technology and analytics expertise to the competition, by providing match statistics to the 165,000 fans who are expected to attend the tournament.
Commenting on the partnership, World Rugby chief executive, Alan Gilpin, said: ““Rugby World Cup Sevens is all set to be a record-breaking celebration of rugby sevens welcoming players, teams and fans from right across the globe.”

IC Markets will add the Rugby World Cup Sevens to its global sports sponsorship portfolio, after the company has been associated with The Ashes and the 2021-22 LaLiga and Bundesliga seasons.
The announcement comes after Emirates extended its partnership with World Rugby to support the 2023 and 2027 Rugby World Cups.
