San Antonio Spurs fans can now purchase standing only tickets through their mobile app

The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) San Antonio Spurs are now providing general admission access to fans through a mobile-only ticketing package, the catch is, it’s standing only.

The promotion, SpurScription Game Pass, is available for all home games at AT&T Center at a cost of US$44.50.

The tickets are available on the Spurs’ official iPhone and Android app, as well as on the team’s official website, which will be provided 24 hours before the start of each upcoming match.

In 2015, the AT&T Center conducted a US$110 million renovation, which included the modernisation and expansion of the arena’s viewing concourses, allowing for fans with a standing only ticket the opportunity to upgrade to a seat, should one come available.

Although there is a maximum purchase of two passes at a time, there is no restriction on who attends using the pass once purchased.

SpurScription is paperless, with admission to the venue managed purely through the Spurs mobile platform.
