Energy drink brand, Red Bull, has entered into a partnership with renowned Swedish esports organisation, Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP).
As part of the deal, Red Bull branding first appeared on NiP jerseys during the CS:GO BLAST Premier Fall Finals.
Additionally, the partnership will span across all of NiP’s other rosters, however, information on activations has not been announced.
Commenting on the partnership, NiP vice president of commercial, Toni Kaski, said: “NIP is thrilled to be Red Bull’s first esports partner in Sweden.”
We’re looking forward to introducing esports to a much wider audience and creating impactful and memorable experiences together,” he said.
NiP CEO, Hicham Chahine, added: “Red Bull has been in the game almost as long as we have —and where there is esports, there is Red Bull.”
“It’s a feeling that Ninjas finally got their wings! Seeing the raging crimson bull on our NIP jerseys will be a proud moment for our organization,” Chahine said.
Recently, NiP has also expanded its deal with gaming brand, Razer, paired up with sportswear brand, FILA, and announced a one-year partnership with Thai esports organisation, Bacon Time.
