The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced a five-year partnership with Kraft Heinz, which allows them to keep a presence at the newly renamed Acrisure Stadium.
The National Football League (NFL) team’s home was recently renamed the Acrisure Stadium, after signing a new 15-year naming rights deal.
The partnership will see Heinz continue to market their brand at games and remain as the title sponsor of the red zone.
Commenting on the partnership, Heinz vice president of sales and marketing, Ryan Huzjak, said: “There’s a lot that needs to be covered in terms of detail but we’re working on an opportunity where we can have a bottle visible at the stadium.”
“There are some challenges because the bottles are old and the materials provide some challenges.
“But we’re hopeful to have them on display in a Heinz-sponsored area so the fans can continue to sort of enjoy the history of the building and enjoy that aspect of it.”
Despite Kraft Heinz losing naming rights for the Steelers’ stadium, they will continue to remain part of the team’s community.
On staying as Steelers partner, Kraft Heinz spokeswoman, Kathy Krenger, added: “We at Kraft Heinz are committed to the Pittsburgh community and we’re not going anywhere.”
“Heinz will continue to be a major part of the stadium and Steelers experience,” she said.
