Penrith Panthers Unveil Logo to Mark 60th Season

The Penrith Panthers have officially revealed a their logo that will feature throughout the club’s 2026 campaign, marking the organisation’s 60th season competing in first grade rugby league.

The design brings together past and present visual elements to acknowledge the club’s history while celebrating its current identity and future trajectory.

The current leaping panther, sits at the centre of the commemorative mark. In a nod to the club’s inaugural 1967 badge, the football-shaped oblong from the original design is incorporated behind the modern emblem, connecting the club’s origins to its contemporary identity.

A silver shield frames the logo, drawing inspiration from the Panthers’ 2003 premiership era. The simplified panther head outline and typography provide a strong, unifying structure for the updated mark. Completing the design is a serif-styled “60” and a banner reading “Seasons 1967–2026”, signifying the longevity and passion shared by the club and its supporter base.

The commemorative logo will be applied across Panthers branding and the 2026 authentic merchandise range, including on-field and supporter apparel.

Additionally, while not included in the primary mark, the standalone ‘P’ from the original Panthers crest will return as a secondary design feature on next season’s merchandise collection.

The release aligns with the official beginning of the 2026 season last November 1 that represented a key milestone for one of the NRL’s most successful and influential clubs of the modern era.

The Panthers’ three consecutive premierships have cemented a new chapter in the club’s legacy, and the 60th season branding is intended to recognise both the journey taken and the success still being pursued.

For the club, the commemorative identity is as much about community as it is history — celebrating members, fans and the broader Penrith region that has shaped the Panthers’ on-field and cultural identity over six decades.
