Nine Entertainment Co. (Nine) has partnered with Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 to secure their free and paid audio-visual rights, along with non-exclusive audio rights, for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
This agreement cements Nine’s position as Australia’s dedicated Paralympic Network, reaffirming its commitment to comprehensive coverage following the record-setting engagement of over 10 million viewers during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Commenting on the partnership, Nine’s chief executive officer, Matt Stanton, said: “Using Nine’s unrivalled scale across streaming, broadcasting, and publishing, Australian audiences will be able to immerse themselves in the action and the incredible stories of these remarkable athletes, whenever and wherever they desire.”
Chief executive officer of Milano Cortina 2026, Andrea Varnier, added: “From 6 to 15 March 2026, as Italy takes the global spotlight, Australian fans will have the opportunity to follow every moment of this extraordinary celebration of winter sport.”
“We are excited to partner with Nine to deliver the Games directly to Australian audiences,” Varnier said.

“Congratulations to both Matt Stanton and Andrea Varnier for achieving an agreement that promises to elevate the coverage of the Games in March to impressive heights,” Murray expressed.
