Real estate agency, LJ Hooker, has entered a partnership with Netball Australia, to become the exclusive real estate partner of the governing body, Australian Diamonds and Super Netball competition.

The deal will run until 2025, providing Netball Australia with a much-needed boost following a difficult financial year in 2021.

LJ Hooker will be looking to capitalise on the demographic overlap between house hunters and netball fans.

Commenting on the partnership. LJ Hooker general manager, James Boulton: “A large percentage of the Netball Australia audience consists of household decision makers, which aligns closely with our offices’ target market.”

Praising the partnership, Netball Australia CEO, Kelly Ryan, commented: “This partnership is a wonderful addition for our sport, and it is great to see such an iconic national brand invest in netball.”

Additionally, research by Nielesen Sport has suggested Netball fans are 3.5x more likely to sell their home in the next 12 months and 2.6x more likely to purchase a home in the same time frame, compared to the national average.

The deal complements Hancock Prospecting’s recent sponsorship of the Diamonds.
