Melbourne United has just announced a lucrative five-year partnership with Harcourts on the eve of their blockbuster do-or-die NBL Semi-Final clash against the Sydney Kings at Melbourne Arena.
The landmark partnership will see Harcourts become the Official Real Estate Agent of Melbourne United and take over Melbourne Arena with ‘Harcourts Home Court Advantage’ branding on game days.
With over 900 offices worldwide, someone buys a property with Harcourts every 10 minutes and there are 88,000 rental properties managed by Harcourts across Australia.
“Harcourts is an iconic brand across Australia and the world, and we’re thrilled to begin this partnership,” Melbourne United CEO, Vince Crivelli, said.
“With a five-year commitment, we look forward to building a great relationship with a market-leader in real estate.”
The ‘Harcourts Home Court Holler’ gets fans on their feet from just before tip-off until the opposition scores, creating an unrivalled atmosphere in the venue and giving Melbourne players the edge they need to win.
“We have the best fans in the league and with Harcourts coming on board, the atmosphere at Melbourne Arena will go up another gear as they help us create the Harcourts Homecourt Advantage.”
Harcourts Victoria/Tasmania CEO, Tony Morrison, spoke about the shared values between the organisations.
“What attracted Harcourts to the Melbourne United Basketball team was the great family atmosphere that they have created at their home games,” Morrison said.
“This along with the culture of really looking after their people really appealed to us at Harcourts and fitted in perfectly with our own values.
“We are really excited to align ourselves with a sporting organisation which is heading in the same direction as us.”
