The Melbourne Stars have confirmed the renewal of their partnership with Intrepid Travel.

Under the agreement, Intrepid’s branding will feature on the back of the Stars’ playing jerseys and training kits, maintaining strong visibility across both men’s and women’s squads.

For the Stars, the renewal reinforces the value of aligning with brands that emphasise social responsibility and community engagement.

Sharing how the Intrepid’s commitment to sustainability and positive impact was a natural fit with the club’s initiatives, General Manager, Max Abbott,  said: “As a certified B Corp, Intrepid are the benchmark for adventure travel when it comes to corporate social responsibility.”

“Their leadership inspires us as we continue to grow our own sustainability program and inclusion initiatives,” Abbott said.

Intrepid Travel sees the partnership as a way to deepen connections with Australian audiences.

Highlighting the shared values between cricket and travel, noting both foster community and cultural connection, Managing Director, Brett Mitchell, expressed: “We’re thrilled to be returning as Platinum Partner of the Melbourne Stars for a second season.”

“Cricket has a special place in the hearts of many Australians, and just like travel, it brings people together through shared experiences,” Mitchell said.

With BBL attendance and broadcast audiences remaining a strong drawcard for commercial partners, a presence across both the men’s and women’s competitions provides Intrepid with access to diverse fan segments.

The Stars will open their WBBL campaign against the Adelaide Strikers on 10 November, before the men’s team begins its BBL season at the MCG on 18 December.
