LA Clippers improve fan experience with Vivid Seats
NBA basketball team, the Los Angeles Clippers, looks to create a more seamless ticket purchasing experience after announcing a new partnership with Vivid Seats.
Vivid Seats new multi-year deal starts at the beginning of the 2018-19 season and marks their first deal with an NBA team.
Sporting organisations are competing with each other to provide better fan engagement and game day experiences, but according to the president of business operations for the LA Clippers, Gillian Zucker, the process starts when purchasing the tickets.
“By partnering with Vivid Seats, a company that like the Clippers is founded in innovation, we’re excited to provide our fans with a more frictionless ticketing process,” he said.
“Our goal is that every single touchpoint our fans have with the Clippers is an exceptional experience – from purchasing their tickets to catching a hot dog from the hot dog cannon – and Vivid Seats not only understands that fully, but is able to help us achieve that outcome.
“We’re excited to improve yet another aspect of the Clippers experience through our new relationship with Vivid Seats.”
Vivid Seats will serve as a supporting partner of the Clippers’ MVP program, providing season ticket holders with unique experiences and benefits on game days.
Vivid Seats will also benefit from in-game signage and digital, social and ticket assets.
